This position offers a remote work setting with support from a dedicated outpatient office team in Sherman, Texas. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for clients to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
• Utilize diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, in individual, group, and family settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while respecting client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and effective care, participating in case discussions and treatment planning to optimize client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying current with the latest research and trends in mental health.
• Support clients in implementing coping strategies and resilience-building techniques to foster personal growth and emotional well-being.

Your work as an LPC will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and addresses their unique challenges.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of experience in clinical counseling is preferred, demonstrating a proactive approach to patient care.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical practice standards in mental health care is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
• Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and approaches is an asset, as this role may incorporate telehealth services.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
