Job description

This is a remote position - candidates for this role must reside in the state of Texas (within 2 hours of an Angels of Care office).
Compensation Type:Hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime business hours
The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that documentation is accurate, compliant, and processed on time so field staff can focus on what they do best: providing exceptional care.
In this role, you will:
  • Review electronic nursing notes in KanTime to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Approve or return notes for correction as needed
  • Verify and process paper notes, including entering visit times and scanning into KanTime
  • Communicate directly with clinicians to discuss corrections and resolve discrepancies
  • Mail Medication Logs for p-charts
  • Enter late note offenses into KanTime journal notes
  • Support field staff with electronic charting submissions
  • Help ensure nurses are paid accurately and on time by maintaining complete, correct documentation
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Customer service, administrative, healthcare office, or other related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
