We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our School Mental Health Team at the Peaceful Path Mental Health Hub. This remote position will allow you to make a significant impact on the mental well-being of students from the comfort of your own home, providing essential mental health services tailored specifically for a unique, diverse school environment.

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexible working hours whilst ensuring you remain a vital part of our multidisciplinary team. Daily operations occur from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. While the position primarily involves remote work, you may occasionally be required to participate in evening shifts or rotating weekend coverage to provide comprehensive mental health services. You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic health record systems (EHR) to maintain patient documentation and ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, considering their personal histories, presenting challenges, and risk factors affecting their overall well-being.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, focusing on improving mental health outcomes, fostering emotional health, and facilitating smooth integration into the school environment.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches to address various mental health concerns.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting emotional regulation, coping strategies, and personal growth among students.
• Engage with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate treatment and ensure a holistic approach to care delivery.
• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate and making referrals for advanced care when necessary.
• Educate students and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings to share insights, promote collaboration, and foster professional development within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, ethical guidelines, and mental health best practices in school environments, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Your primary focus will be the diverse student population in our school, addressing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive school culture that promotes mental health awareness and reduces stigma while aiding students to reach their full potential.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid LCSW licensure in Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within educational or mental health settings.
• Robust knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions across a variety of therapeutic methods.
• Strong crisis management skills, demonstrating composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and their families from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable with digital communication tools.

• Experience working in a school-based mental health setting, facilitating interventions and programs to promote student well-being.
• Background in community health outreach initiatives and psychoeducational programming.
