Job description

The Director of the Sikeston location is responsible for all operating functions of the external location. In addition to the Sikeston location, this position will also be overseeing the Dexter location. Evening and/or weekend hours may be required to provide personnel for the location hours and special events.
Responsibilities include:
  1. Prepare and maintain budget and planning unit for both external locations.
  2. Act as a representative of the college in the community/service area.
  3. Coordinate the selection, employment, training, supervision, and evaluation of full and/or part-time center staff.
  4. Assist adjunct faculty with student materials as necessary.
  5. Attend recruiting events as schedule permits.
  6. Plan, coordinate, schedule, and deliver student placement testing.
  7. Plan, organize, and coordinate the semesterly registration/enrollment of students.
  8. Serve as liaison for all main campus departmental matters.
  9. Coordinate in conjunction with the maintenance department for all facility repairs and upkeep. Maintain responsibility for the coordination of weather related clean up.
  10. Coordinate with technology department with any technical or equipment issues.
  11. Coordinate with the Office of Public Safety for external location safety training and reporting.
  12. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Bachelor’s degree is required; experience with college academic, recruitment or admissions programs preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.
Salary range is $56,428 - $60,428. Excellent fringe benefit package includes, but not limited to health, dental, vision, and life insurance; sick and vacation leave; and the Missouri Public School amp; Education Employee Retirement System. Generous leave and holiday schedules.
