Receptionist

Glengariff Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking qualified and experienced receptionist with a background of customer service.

Receptionist Job Description:    

  • This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interactions with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

  • Must be a team member.

  • As a Receptionist, you are a member of the Administrative Team and the Business Office Manager is the coordinator of this team. All requests go to your Team Leader.

  • Courteously greeting visitors and directing visitors appropriately.

  • Please have all visitors sign in binders. Visitors and Vendors both have their own binders.

  • Operate switchboard and training others for relief purposes.

  • Answer telephones and determine the nature of the call and direct the calls to the appropriate individual or department.

  • Efficiently processing incoming and outgoing calls.

  • Filing and copying documents as needed.

  • Typing correspondence, written communication and reports as needed.

  • Distribute mail as directed.

  • Maintain a current list of residents and their room numbers.

  • Agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to your Director.

Receptionist Requirements/Qualifications: Must be able to read, write and understand English

Shift Needs: Per Diem

Pay Rate: Up to $18 an hour
