Job Description
The CT Technologist will provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in performing routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Responsibilities
  • Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures.
  • Conduct routine diagnostic CT Scanning, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
  • Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures.
  • Ensure knowledge of processing of CT systems and surgical/sterile procedures, with and without contrast media.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • ARRT and TMB license required.
  • BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be registered in Connecticut as a general radiographer.
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
