Get to Know Your Team:
  • Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
Responsibilities
  • The Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to patient care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • The Radiology Technician works closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R) Certification.
  • MRT License from the Texas Medical Board.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
