Job description

Radiology Operations Manager provides operational, strategic, financial leadership and effective management of Radiology services across the Health System and neighborhood locations. The Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs, and oversees the activities of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology service lines for the healthcare system which include, but are not limited to Interventional Radiology, Breast Imaging, Nuclear medicine and PET/CT, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy. The Managers will work closely with the Supervisors to ensure that the highest level of patient care is provided, operate efficiently, and promote a safe environment. The Operations Managers report to the Director of Imaging.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiology, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years job related experience.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Radiology/Imaging Services. Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' progressive management experience
  • Ability to balance emotional intelligence and business insights when communicating with stakeholders

  • Must have good business and financial acumen. Skill in understanding and interpreting financial and statistical data
