Fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for Relief work to join our AMAZING and FRIENDLY team at VCA A Breed Apart.
Location: 777 S Arroyo Pkwy Suite 106, Pasadena, CA 91105
Salary: $25 - $29 / hour
Dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.
VCA A Breed Apart is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor practice in Pasadena, California.
Position available for a full-time, experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Responsibilities require proficiency in Phlebotomy, IV Catheter Placement, as well as stress-free handling, digital radiography, administration of vaccines, and medications. The ideal candidate will also possess great attendance, client communication skills, superior customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work in a great team atmosphere. Salary will be based on the level of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience
  • Animal Handling
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dentistry (Preferred, not required)
  • Capable of being cross-trained for front office receptionist duties that will be expected in the job
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, "People-oriented."
  • Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Customer service skills, including Phone skills
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
