Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Data engineering background and hands-on work experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT, using AWS services (Ex. S3, Glue, Step Function, Athena, DMS, Storage Gateway, flavors of RDS).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
  • Good Python programming skills.
  • Experience sourcing and exposing data via Rest API.
  • Applications Integration experience.
  • Candidate should know how to build ETL pipeline but doesn’t require deep knowledge on any ETL tool.
  • Python and AWS (Glue, S3, Step Function are main services) expertise is must.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Work with a team dedicated to the design, development, and delivery of Data Mesh in the organization. This solution will eventually be providing services across multiple lines of business within the organization. 
  • Will collaborate closely with Data architects for design work and develop secure and scalable application solutions using the AWS data products.
  • This position includes the ability to code data pipelines that ETL data without the use of an ETL tool.
