SUMMARY: Under the management of the Bingo Manager, the Bingo Clerk Generalist is a key role in creating an engaging and entertaining experience for guests. Responsibilities include customer service, handling Bingo paper and pull-tab inventory, processing cash transactions and sales, assisting the Bingo Caller during sessions, and supporting overall Bingo operations. This role serves as a host and entertainer, fostering guest relationships, promoting loyalty, and ensuring positive experiences. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to Casino policies and Gaming regulations are essential to delivering a memorable and enjoyable experience for every guest.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:

  • Host and entertain guests during Bingo sessions, creating an engaging, welcoming atmosphere that fosters loyalty and positive experiences.
  • Facilitate Bingo operations by accurately handling cash transactions, balancing banks, and ensuring all Bingo paper and pull-tab inventory is maintained and accounted for during sessions.
  • Promote and sell Bingo items and activities to guests, actively upselling and cross-selling products to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue ensuring all transactions are accurate, engaging, and provide clear, helpful information to guests.
  • Assist guests by providing information on game rules, prize amounts, and any current promotions, maintaining a friendly, approachable, and entertaining demeanor.
  • Monitor game activities closely to ensure accurate payouts, timely start times, and an efficient pace of play, adjusting to guest needs while maintaining an upbeat and engaging tone.
  • Reconcile sales, inventory, and bank records at the end of each shift, ensuring all funds, assets, and documentation are accurate and properly recorded in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Support Bingo promotions and special events by enthusiastically communicating offerings to guests and encouraging participation.
  • Maintain the Bingo supply area and inventory control, ensuring appropriate stock levels for each session and assisting with periodic physical counts as needed.
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience by promoting positive interactions, resolving guest inquiries, and ensuring a high-energy and enjoyable environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Six months or greater experience in a customer service or cashiering role preferred, particularly in a gaming or Bingo operations.
  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable using software relevant to Bingo operations.
  • Ability to compute mathematical totals quickly and accurately, maintaining accuracy during peak times.
