Job description

From weddings and holiday parties to corporate retreats and social gatherings, our catering team delivers unforgettable events with creative menus, seamless service, and elevated design expertise.

We are looking for multiple Warehouse Associates to receive, sort, and organize incoming orders, equipment, and product. This position is responsible for assisting the moving and organization of product to maximize kitchen efficiency for each event.  The Warehouse Team will work with the Chefs and Operations Team to organize and identify items, prepare kitchen distribution, double check inventories, and help distribute product for event days.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse
  • Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
  • Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Assist with pulling and packing equipment for events, unpacking and organizing equipment returned to warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, transferring equipment between outlets, and making deliveries or driving to events when needed.
  • Cleaning and organizing the warehouse, china room, and dish room.
  • Assists warehouse leads with equipment & inventory control.
  • Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures
  • Responsible for both pre & post event set-up/break down responsibilities
  • Ensures security of company assets

Performs other related duties as required

Education and/or Experience

  • Experience working in a warehouse is necessary, experience in food & beverage or the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to pass a background and DOT certification test
  • Must be available for a variety of shift times (nights and weekends are needed) - we can work to make flexible schedules and work around other jobs

Work Environment 

This position will work out of the corporate office located in Grand Prairie. This role will be moving throughout the warehouse, lifting, carrying, arranging, cleaning, and organizing equipment. This role will also have the opportunity to drive box trucks and will travel as needed to Dallas area events.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Must have ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
  • Must have ability to move 150 lb rolling racks, dollies, carts and hand-trucks.

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • This is a part time position with an hourly pay range of $17-$22/hour.
