POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of automation projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer expectations, manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. ADDITIONAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.

  • Proactively manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement solutions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to report progress and resolve project challenges.

  • Work closely with engineers, developers, and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency.

  • Optimize project processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Experience managing budgets, project timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Proficiency in project management tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Possess a general understanding in the areas of mechanical engineering (tooling design, machining processes); electrical engineering (controls & automation) & machinebuilding practices. The Project Manager needs a solid technical understanding to enable them to maintain all the things necessary for the project.
