Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

TheControlsand ElectricalEngineeringManageris responsible for overseeing and managing theteam of electrical and controls engineers responsibleforthe design, programing, debug and installation ofautomationequipment.They work to ensure thatthe electrical andcontrol systems are functioning properlyfor each project, and they lead teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and performance.

  • Quoting and Monitoring Project Budgets

  • Standards Training/Employee Development

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES / DUTIES

  • Identifies resource needs and works withleadership and HR to secure resources.

  • Approvesprojecttimelines andverifies thatquoted hours match timelines.

  • Assigns lead engineersandsupport toprojects.

  • Communicates, monitors and reportsproject KPI tracking.

  • Assuresequipment meets Alliance and Customer Standards.

  • Works with HR to maintain robust training systems.

  • Assists with on-boardingnew hires.

  • Maintains department schedulespertimelines andensuresresource availability.

  • Establishesand maintains relationships with external contractors.

  • Conducts yearly performance reviews with direct reports.

  • Reviews quotes prior to submittal.


MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. AMaster'sdegree may be preferred.

  • Asolid knowledge and understanding of electrical andcontrol systems engineering, with 2-3 years in a leadership or project management role.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate teams.

  • Knowledge of industrial automation, process control, and instrumentation.

  • Strong people skills with the ability to lead a diverse team over multiple projects and customer locations.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NFPA, OSHA).
