As a Project Management SkillBridge Trainee, you immerse yourself in the lifecycle of diverse projects, contributing to their successful execution from initiation to completion. You learn foundational project management methodologies and apply your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. This position provides a critical bridge from military service to a civilian career, developing your expertise and preparing you for future leadership roles within our organization. You contribute directly to team success and organizational goals by ensuring projects stay on track and meet objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities The Project Management SkillBridge Trainee actively supports project teams and contributes to various project phases. You learn and apply best practices under the guidance of experienced project managers.
  • Assists with the development of project plans, outlining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manages and tracks project tasks, ensuring timely completion and resource allocation.
  • Facilitates clear and consistent communication among team members and stakeholders, preparing updates and reports.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite effectively for documentation, presentations, and data analysis.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules, monitoring progress against established timelines.
  • Creates and organizes project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project artifacts.
  • Engages in team collaboration, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identifies potential project risks and assists in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Supports stakeholder management efforts by gathering requirements and communicating project status.
  • Applies problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize project workflows.

Required Qualifications
  • Education

    • Current enrollment in or completion of a SkillBridge program.
  • Experience
    • Demonstrated leadership or organizational experience from military service.
