Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to support planning and coordination efforts for university-related construction initiatives located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This is a contract position suited for someone who can keep schedules on track, organize project documentation, and help maintain clear communication across stakeholders. The ideal Project Assistant candidate will bring strong administrative and project support skills to a fast-paced environment where accuracy, follow-through, and timeline management are essential.

• Coordinate project timelines and track progress across multiple construction-related assignments to help ensure key milestones are met.

• Maintain master schedules by updating activity dates, monitoring dependencies, and highlighting potential delays for project teams.

• Organize, scan, and manage project records so documents remain accurate, accessible, and properly filed.

• Support project management activities by preparing status updates, meeting materials, and routine administrative documentation.

• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to gather information, confirm deliverables, and keep work moving forward.

• Assist with monitoring construction project activities, following up on action items, and helping resolve scheduling or documentation issues.

• Review project details for completeness and consistency, ensuring records and scheduling information are current.

• Provide day-to-day coordination support for ongoing initiatives within a university environment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Other requirements for the Project Assistant position include and are not limited to:
