Engineer I function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting company assets.
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and fellow team members with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Continuously patrol the property to ensure that deficiencies are documented and submitted to the appropriate Property Engineering Department
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance, which reflects the professional appearance and demeanor
  • Lamp replacement
  • Fixture repair and replacement
  • Circuit breaker reset
  • Change AC filters
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Hotel Guest room repairs
  • Respond to Maximo WO's
  • Keep daily logs
  • Support events
  • Meet the required attendance guidelines for the job and adhere to all company and department policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required with 1 to 2 years of prior security experience is preferred
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
  • Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Drivers License

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in cold or warm temperatures
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds
  • Must be able to see and, remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust

Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
