We currently have an opening for a CNC Programmer in our Goodyear, AZ location for 1st Shift. Responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of job specific CNC programs for daily door components, including but not limited to guide angles (Anglemaster), and job specific laser and press brake programs.
  • Assist Manufacturing, Design, IT and Production Engineering in performing daily processes required to fabricate on automated equipment.
  • Interpret part and assembly drawings for specification of part and assembly creation.
  • Documentation of work processes and duties.
  • Preparation of basic programs for CNC milling centers.
  • Use of 3-D modeling software for part program creation.
  • Must be able to successfully and effectively communicate and work with a range of personnel.
    • This will include machine operators, floor supervisors, and Managers throughout the organization.
  • Competent mathematical, computer, communication, and problem-solving skills required:
    • Must be able to effectively work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Ability to read technical drawings:
    • An understanding of CAD and CAM software, including basic 3-D modeling software.
    • Basic proficiency with machine programming software.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or 1-year prior work experience in a related field.
  • Prior work experience with CAD software required; SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling just to name a few.
