Job description

Nursing Position

Guided by knowledge of the basic principles of nursing based on the biological, physical, and psycho-social sciences, utilizes judgment supported by evidence and nursing theory in the delivery of nursing care. Provides, coordinates and/or delegates nursing care and manages resources in the delivery of care for patients, the family of patients and the community, with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health.

BLS required until ACLS obtained, ACLS must be obtained with 180 days of hire.

Schedule:

  • 4 shifts per 6 week scheduling period
  • PRN employees must schedule at least 4 workdays per 6-week schedule, one of these days must be a weekend.
  • PRN employees are also required to sign up for at least one holiday per calendar year.
Qualifications

Education:

Diploma or better in Nursing.

Bachelor's Degree or better in Nursing preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Adv Cardio Life Support required.

Basic Life Support CPR required.

RN License required.
