Weekend PRN RN positions usually require nurses to work flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential opportunities for additional shifts based on staffing needs. The workload can vary each weekend, depending on patient census and acuity, so adaptability is important. These roles often involve collaborating with a leaner weekend team, requiring strong teamwork and autonomy. What is a Weekend PRN RN?

A Weekend PRN RN (As Needed Registered Nurse) is a nursing position where the nurse works primarily on weekends and on an as-needed basis.
