Location: Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS
Departments: Senior Care โ€“ Geri-Psych Unit | IOP | PHP
Schedule: PRN (As Needed) | Flexible Hours

Join SGH's dedicated Senior Care team and make a difference in the lives of older adults with behavioral health needs. As a PRN RN, you'll provide high-quality, compassionate care while supporting patients and families through individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
  • Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
  • Respond to emergencies and initiate resuscitative measures per protocols
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to infection-control standards
  • Supervise and direct LPNs, Nurse Aides, and support staff
  • Monitor crash carts, equipment, and supply inventory
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain nursing competency
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure: Current RN license in Mississippi (Required)
