Skyline Gastroenterology is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse - PRN with a positive spirit to join our team and to help drive patient success in our community. Snapshot of Daily Duties

  • Administer medications in accordance with physician’s orders.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.
  • Assist the physician with management of office visits.
  • Provide patient education and instruction.
  • Communicate with patients as applicable.
  • Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.
  • Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.
  • Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as ordered. Perform phlebotomy as needed, or as prescribed/ordered.
  • SCHEDULE: 10 hour shifts 7:00 AM start time 5:00 PM end time.  As needed between ASC and RN Extender at Hospital

The Must Haves

  • Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
  • ACLS is required. As well as continuing certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.
  • Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.
