Job description

Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician
Location: Regency Plastics / 4147 N Ubly Road, Ubly, Michigan
Starting Pay Range: Based on Experience
Available Work Hours: 1st Shift
$500 Sign-on Bonus
$500 Referral Bonus Available

You will be looked at to maintain, lead with limited supervision, and execute all procedures for machinery and secondary equipment within the facility. This involves improvements, repairs, and preventative/predictive maintenance goals. General facility maintenance including outdoor identities and miscellaneous maintenance projects assigned are also included.
This job classification requires a journeyman level of skill and training in the maintenance and repair functions as assigned. You should be able to help lead the Maintenance Department on all tasks, projects, and training needed.
What You’ll Do:
  • Work on and maintain 1/2 pound to 30 pound Blow Molding Machines, grinders, conveyors, mixing units, etc.
  • Utilize equipment and tools from forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, overhead cranes, welders, numerous hand tools, etc.
  • Work on, and troubleshoot, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical projects as well as reading blueprints for those projects.
  • Help lead a Maintenance Department with training and facilitating tasks as assigned by your manager.
  • Log completed projects for computer data and maintain records of Preventative/Predictive Maintenance.
What You’ll Need:
  • 5+ Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
  • High School Diploma, or GED, and Trade School or equivalent experience.
  • Availability to work weekends and OT, as needed.
  • Ability to be creative, to motivate, and to learn on the fly.
