Overview

The part time Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of skilled work in the mechanical maintenance and repairs at Memorial Booth Stadium and Conference Center. This position performs a full range of duties assigned including general repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event driven schedule including nights, weekends and holidays per business needs.

This position will provide event day coverage for Memorial Booth Stadium and Conference Center.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until July 10th, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect for quality of electrical service, panels, disconnects, and HVAC needs.
  • Provide event coverage for stadium and Conference Center events. 
  • Provide on-site support during special events and projects as needed during off hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Assit full-time Engineering & Maintenance staff with preventive maintenance including: changing filters, greasing motors/bearings, set up for events and any emergency maintenance issues.
  • Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations.
  • Assist with daily work orders.
  • Follow/uphold all safety standards.
  • Participate and document all preventative maintenance service and programs including all required updates.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good repair and properly stored. 
  • Repair and install drywall, painting, and glazing.
  • Assist in major repairs and upgrades and participating in large-scale maintenance duties as part of the operations team.
  • Assist with scheduled predictive maintenance checks following manufacturers' recommendation and/or as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 years apprenticeship in the mechanical field and 1 years field experience.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Related experience and/or training as an HVAC tech/electrical.
  • Proven understanding of HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all Engineering & Maintenance team members to accomplish projects and tasks. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule includig days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to self-start with willingness to take initiative while working in a team environment.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building.
