The driver is responsible for loading and unloading tankers. A successful applicant will be responsible for working safely and efficiently as possible following all safety and quality guidelines for our food manufacturing plant.Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policiesCollect and deliver raw potato starch slurry from potato processing facilities in truck/tanker in Oregon and Washington.Safe loading and unloading of slurry.Adhere to all CDL requirements and statutes.Adhere to all roadway laws and regulations.Testing of product for baume/ph & fiber test.Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentationFuel equipment, as needed.Perform scheduled monthly training by due date.Perform monthly cleaning and maintenance of equipment.Ability to drive in all types of weather.Qualified candidates will have:Valid CDL (Class A) with current tanker endorsement.Clean driving record with no major violations.Current medical card and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures.Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights.Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.Position type and expected hours of work: Associate, 40 hours week minimum.Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred with 1 year of tanker experience.2 years driving of CMV and 1 year tanker experience #INDRLWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
