Fleet Driver


Job Overview


Virtucom is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Fleet Driver to transport products to customer locations safely and efficiently. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. When deliveries are not scheduled, the Fleet Driver will assist with warehouse and production operations to support business needs.


Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and deliver Virtucom products to customer locations.
  • Load company vehicles at Virtucom facilities and unload products at customer destinations.
  • Operate company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26-foot box trucks.
  • Pick up and deliver products throughout Virtucom's service area.
  • Represent Virtucom professionally and provide excellent customer service during every customer interaction.
  • Understand and safely operate all assigned fleet vehicles.
  • Comply with all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
  • Follow Virtucom's Fleet Policy by maintaining the cleanliness and overall condition of company vehicles.
  • Follow instructions from the Fleet Manager and Services Manager regarding delivery schedules, routes, and assignments.
  • Maintain accurate fuel receipts and other required vehicle documentation for monthly audits.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, inventory, production, and other assigned duties when not performing deliveries.
  • Perform occasional warehouse duties during slow deployment periods or when delivery demand is reduced.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating cargo vans, box trucks, or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.



Requirements


Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive up to a 26ft box truck (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Current valid driver's license and MVR Report (REQUIRED)
  • Must be able to move items <50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a hand truck
  • Must be able to handle a pallet jack
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Standard work hours are 8 AM - 5 PM (40 hours a week) and work overtime as needed
  • Overtime pay would be provided if applicable
  • Must be able to stay out overnight as
