Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level experience programming Siemens PLCs and Allen-Bradley PLCs, along with a strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, electrical controls, and industrial communication networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automated machinery and industrial control systems.
  • Program and support Siemens SIMATIC S7 and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix platforms.
  • Configure and maintain HMI systems, operator interfaces, alarms, and production displays.
  • Perform control system commissioning, startup, testing, and validation.
  • Diagnose electrical, software, communication, and equipment performance issues.
  • Create and update ladder logic, function block diagrams, structured text, and control sequences.
  • Integrate PLCs with variable frequency drives, sensors, safety devices, robotics, and other industrial equipment.
  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks, including PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus.
