Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. The Plant Manager will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while driving continuous improvement, meeting quality standards, and managing a cross-functional team. This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to translate strategic goals into operational results.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, safety, and logistics to meet business targets and customer requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing efficiency, yield, downtime, and on-time delivery; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to reduce waste and improve productivity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations; maintain a strong safety record through training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Manage plant budget, capital expenditures, and cost control measures; optimize resource allocation to improve profitability.
  • Coordinate production planning with supply chain and procurement to ensure material availability and minimize inventory costs.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
