Job description

Industrial Piping Fitter/Welder
IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Industrial Pipe Fitter/Welders to complete complex industrial mechanical and process piping projects. You will provide piping services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Welding
  • Metal Fabrication
  • Pipe fitting and joining
  • Operation of shop equipment
  • Print reading
  • Safety focused
  • Fabrication and Installation of process piping systems
  • Fabrication Installation of mechanical piping systems
  • Safety focused for self and entire job site
  • Monitors the welding and fitting process to ensure compliance with industry best practices
  • Maintains and organizes, tools, equipment and the overall work site
  • Maintains job quality and ensures schedule compliance
  • SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus
  • Rigging and signal person a plus
  • Industrial maintenance and repair
  • Operate aerial man lifts and powered fork truck lifts.
  • Emergency repairs

  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to commute to various job sites

  • Plans pipe routes
