Job description

Position Summary:

The provider will perform General Medicine disability evaluations, review medical records, conduct physical examinations, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). No prescribing, treatment planning, or ongoing patient care is required.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability examinations.
  • Review Veterans' medical records and relevant documentation before each evaluation.
  • Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
  • Accurately complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and required reports.
  • Document findings clearly, objectively, and within established timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.

Qualification:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
  • Active, unrestricted MD, DO license
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
  • Experience with disability evaluations, occupational medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred.
