Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the Marcus JCC of Atlanta and a subset of its programs. This team member will coordinate and participate in the creation of compelling communication and marketing initiatives to convey and promote the Agency’s offerings.


A snapshot of job responsibilities include:

· Develop and execute marketing plans, including strategic planning, collateral creation, email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, and other tactical execution

· Collaborate with graphic designers to develop creative and a wide variety of marketing pieces, including brochures, postcards, catalogs, banners

· Write and edit copy for marketing collateral, including copy for brochures, postcards, and emails

· Participate in social media campaign ideation for assigned program areas; collaborate with the social media lead on content collection, creation, approval, and scheduling

· Manage special projects from setting strategy through tactical implementation that could include arranging photo or video shoots

· Help to maintain brand identity through managing collateral and signage on campus

· Partner cross-functionally with program staff, senior management, volunteer board members, and donors to understand program needs and develop effective marketing support; must be professional, an attentive listener, and able to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization


A snapshot of job requirements include:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

· 3+ years of relevant work experience

· Cross functional marketing experience

· Engaging storyteller with strong editing and writing skills

· Experience developing social media campaigns and utilizing various platforms

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, thrive in a dynamic environment, and an ability to shift priorities and meet deadlines

· Willing to attend off hours events as needed

· Proficiency in Canva for day-to-day content creation

· Familiarity with and enthusiasm for AI tools as a supplementary resource for copywriting and content creation; ability to prompt effectively and a critical eye for evaluating and refining AI-generated output

· Proficiency in Adobe and photo/video editing software a plus

· This is a full-time in-office position with a standard schedule of Monday–Friday during regular business hours. However, evening and weekend hours likely required to support events, programs, or project deadlines.
