Job Title- Dynatrace Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX
Hybrid - 3 Days onsite
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in implementing and utilizing Dynatrace to improve application performance, troubleshooting, and integration with existing tools.
  • Onboard and configure Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring in the Dynatrace environment.
  • Collaborate with application teams to identify processes, services, and dependencies for effective mapping to applications.
  • Propose enhancements to optimize the Dynatrace monitoring environment.
  • Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow for seamless incident and change management workflows.
  • Train application support teams to utilize Dynatrace for root cause analysis and performance optimization.
  • Implement Real User Monitoring (RUM) to track user interactions and performance across web and mobile applications.
  • Configure Synthetic Monitoring to simulate user journeys and proactively detect performance issues.
  • Validate and optimize the configuration to ensure complete coverage of application endpoints.

  • Work with application teams to:
    • Identify and document key processes, services, and dependencies for monitored applications.
  • Map application components within Dynatrace for comprehensive visibility.
  • Ensure accurate tagging and grouping of monitored entities to facilitate troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Assess the current Dynatrace environment and propose optimizations to improve monitoring efficiency and coverage.
  • Provide recommendations for scaling and managing the Dynatrace environment as the organization grows.

  • Develop and deliver training sessions for application support teams, focusing on:
    • Using Dynatrace for root cause analysis.
    • Navigating dashboards and creating reports.
    • Best practices for proactive monitoring.
  • Provide documentation and reference materials for ongoing support.
