Job Description:

The Associate, Systems Engineering position will serve as the chief technical support contact for our offsite Field Service Representatives (FSRs).


Essential Functions:

  • Provide remote troubleshooting guidance, interpret complex technical drawings and training materials to support field operations, and deliver engineering expertise to help our field teams resolve system issues and ensure successful customer deployments.
  • Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science) with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.ย 
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Networking: IP addressing, switching/routing, video teleconferencing, VoIP/telephony, or WANs.
    • Cybersecurity: Familiarity with government Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes or Security+ certification.
    • Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP.
    • Collaboration Skills: Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, or government customers.
    • Testing & Documentation: Developing and implementing software/system test plans in team environments.
    • Aviation Systems: Knowledge of aircraft navigation systems, radios, Flight Management Systems (FMS), radar altimeters, IFF transponders, or TCAS.
    • Communication Protocols: Familiarity with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS232/422, Ethernet, or other serial protocols.
  • Must be a US citizen.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active DoD security clearance.
