Job description

Job Summary

Under supervision, performs logistics tasks including material handling, inventory management, and shipment preparation using manual methods and basic equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors).

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sit-down forklift to primarily load but also unload shipments.
  • Prepare and load orders for shipment to include placing on pallets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
  • Document damaged items.
  • Complete required load tallies and properly scan units.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on finished goods.
  • Adhere to safety and organizational standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting.

This job is for 2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting salary for position: $29.82 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
