Job description

**Location: Can live anywhere in the U.S. | Nationwide Travel Required | Home Every Weekend ***

Role: Arc Flash/Electrical Technician (Traveling)

Location: Nationwide Travel Mon-Fri - Home on Weekends

Type: 2+ year contract

Pay: $25-$35/hr + Per Diem + Travel Paid

  • All travel expenses paid/arranged
  • $75/day per diem
  • Extensive training provided
  • Home every weekend


About: We're hiring an Arc Flash Technician to support electrical safety assessments at industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and data centers across the U.S. You'll travel to customer sites documenting electrical distribution equipment and power systems that engineers use to complete arc flash studies and safety analyses.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of electrical experience (Commercial or industrial)
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams
  • Electrical distribution and troubleshooting experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and MVR

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Arc Flash experience, or NFPA 70E or OSHA certifications, or Medium voltage experience


Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites nationwide (home every weekend)
  • Document switchgear, MCCs, transformers, panelboards, and disconnects
  • Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams
  • Trace electrical distribution systems and collect equipment data
  • Work directly with facility personnel and safety teams
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
