Job description

PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH is looking for an Associate Campus Pastor to join this exciting and fast-paced organization. Parkview is one church with three campus locations in Orland Park, Homer Glen and New Lenox. The Campus Team is seeking a full-time Associate Campus Pastor to help carry out the mission of Parkview at the Orland Park Campus.
WIN STATEMENT:
The Associate Campus Pastor plays a key leadership role in cultivating a spiritually vibrant and relationally connected church community. This person oversees the Groups Ministry, ensuring people are growing in faith and community, and also provides pastoral care to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify, train, and equip people to lead healthy groups
  • Develop a team of coaches who can confidently shepherd small group leaders
  • Execute any Groups programming as required by Central Groups Ministry
  • Serve at weekend services to connect with and guide people toward their next step in community and spiritual growth
  • Use the church database to track the onboarding of volunteers and process registrations of group members
  • Assist the Campus Pastor as needed in the pastoral functions of the church, including but not limited to pastoral care, performing weddings and funerals, assisting with baptisms, and hosting as needed.
  • Serve as a commissioned pastor of Parkview Christian Church, abiding by the guidelines of Parkview's Commissioning Policy and performing sacerdotal functions as needed
  • Play a key role in the everyday care of attendees of the campus

FLSA CLASSIFICATION:

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • 40 hours per week // a mixture of weekend hours, weekday hours, and evening hours as necessitated
