OPERATIONS MANAGER — The Work

The Operations Manager oversees the daily operation of the arcade, bowling, attractions, and overall facility.

Leadership amp; Management
  • Lead by example and hold the team accountable for an amazing guest experience
  • Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and retain top talent
  • Create a professional, positive, team-focused workplace
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, cash controls, incident resolution, and opening/closing procedures
  • Develop and maintain effective operating processes, procedures, and training materials
  • Use operational and financial data to evaluate performance and improve results
Operations
  • Serve as a hands-on utility player across all areas of the venue with emphasis on arcade and attractions
  • Manage arcade, attractions, redemption operations, bowling and FoH areas
  • Operate attractions and support any department as business needs require
  • Maintain strong knowledge of arcade operations, including basic game repair, redemption, redemption POS systems, inventory, and reporting
  • Achieve budget, labor, sales, and operating goals
  • Maintain food quality, recipe consistency, and presentation standards
  • Create and grow an axe-throwing and golf simulator league program, loyalty programs, events, promotions, and other guest-focused revenue opportunities
  • Support vendor management, new programs, and future venue offerings
  • Ensure the facility is consistently clean, safe, sanitized, and in excellent repair
  • Perform full-facility opening and closing responsibilities
  • Complete other duties as needed
The Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on management experience in restaurant, entertainment, arcade, or hospitality operations
  • Genuine passion for arcade operations, hospitality, and guest experience
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of arcade games, basic troubleshooting and repair, redemption operations, and POS systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Process-focused, creative, financially responsible, and continuously looking for ways to improve the business
  • Understanding of budgets, labor management, cost controls, reporting, and P amp;L
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Food Safety Certification and knowledge of applicable regulations
  • Must be at least 21 years old
Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and move at a fast pace for several hours; bend, reach, kneel, mop, and sweep; work in hot and cold conditions; and frequently lift or carry up to 25–50 pounds.
