Job description

District Operations Manager - Nightly Doorstep Trash Collection
Compensation: $65,000 Annual OTE (On-Target Earnings) Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 | Bi-Weekly Pay
Who We Are
Community Concierge Services (CCS) provides doorstep waste and recycling pickup for apartment communities nationwide. Every evening, our team of 700+ employees serves more than 160,000 apartment units coast to coast. We're scaling fast, and we reward reliability and results - team members who perform earn advancement, expanded responsibility, and additional shifts.
The Role
You'll own doorstep trash collection operations in your market from top to bottom. That includes launching new communities, recruiting and developing your crew, meeting with clients face-to-face, and getting out in the field with your team. This job is equal parts office leadership and boots-on-the-ground work - you'll need to roll up your sleeves and set the pace from the front, every single day.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Run nightly operations across multiple apartment communities with flawless execution
  • Recruit and train porters to meet CCS standards
  • Perform employee audits and on-site quality inspections
  • Develop lasting, trusted relationships with property managers and clients
  • Own scheduling and route coverage - no missed pickups, period
  • Coordinate employee logistics: safety gear, reporting apps, and ADP payroll forms
  • Jump on operational issues in real time, from equipment breakdowns to staffing gaps
  • Keep nightly reports, payroll, employee records, and compliance documentation up to date
  • Support new community launches, including resident orientations and equipment distribution

Want to stand out? Applicants who send a 1-2 minute video introducing themselves move to the front of the line. Email your video to Markg@go-ccs.com
Schedule & Workload
  • Nights and weekends required - routes operate 7 days a week
  • Peak hours run 7 PM-2 AM daily
  • Blend of field work and administrative duties, with daytime flexibility based on business needs
  • Occasional travel to nearby markets to support operations
Who Thrives Here
  • A leader who works alongside the team - late nights and route coverage included
  • A proactive communicator and problem solver who's honest, accountable, and focused on solutions
  • Someone confident managing people, systems, and processes in a fast-moving, high-accountability setting
  • Adaptable under pressure - able to pivot quickly when staffing or service challenges hit
  • A team builder who leads by example and wants to grow as the company grows
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $60,000/year (bi-weekly pay)
  • Annual Bonus: $5,000, paid quarterly (performance-based)
  • Company Vehicle: for all work-related use - gas and maintenance covered
  • Health Insurance: company-sponsored plan covering you and your family
  • 401(k) Match: 4% on the first 5% contributed, after 12 months
  • Growth Path: help launch and lead new districts as we expand
Requirements
  • Clean driving record with 5+ years of driving experience (required for company vehicle eligibility)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Competency with basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and stay on your feet for miles at a time, without assistance
  • A strong work ethic across both hands-on and administrative work, every day
