Job description

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager reporting to the Group General Manager for the Arlington Heights office, a small but growing office looking towards the future. As the ASI Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, purchasing, controlling, quality control and inventory control. Using your skills to manage the ASI office as efficiently and effectively as possible to minimize costs, maximizing profits, while maintaining this highest level of customer support and confidence. This will require strong engagement with our Sales departments, Customer representatives and Engineering departments throughout the group. Key Responsibilities  Support the sale and promotion of the company’s products within the ASI territories  Represent the company as required including industry trade shows, seminars and a like.  Manage and coordinate process of daily sales orders  Coordinate technical assistance in support of the company’s customers and products.  Manage and control in-house production facilities  Manage and supervise in-house service center  Coordinate materials control, factory order forecasting, PO placement and JIT ideals  Manage warehouse related tasks, stock control, goods received and outgoing shipments  Coordinate Engineering related activities as required between ASI and ASY Engineering  Manage the internal data and server system with IT support if required
Management experience  Good PC skills  Windows and Microsoft experience  Learn In-House programs  To understand complete product operations and application  Ability to read wiring, technical and mechanical drawings  Ability to read schematic’s an advantage but not essential  Background in Currency handling equipment an advantage but not essential  Background in Amusement or Gaming equipment an advantage but not essential.
