The Town of Innisfil is seeking motivated individuals to perform a range of winter maintenance operations which will include: Perform snow-clearing and ice-control activities at Town-owned facilities, parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, pathways, accessible spaces, curb ramps, fire routes, and emergency exits. Operate assigned winter-maintenance equipment safely, including pickup trucks with plows, loaders, tractors, snow blowers, spreaders, hand tools, and other small equipment. Apply sand, salt, and other approved de-icing materials in accordance with Town procedures, environmental practices, and site requirements.

Complete required activity logs, inspection reports, equipment records, and other documentation accurately and on time. Support the maintenance and operation of outdoor rinks, trails, and other seasonal recreational amenities, including snow removal, flooding, surface maintenance, and site inspections. Perform general parks and facility-related labour duties, including waste collection, litter control, tree trimming and pruning, minor grounds maintenance, and seasonal set-up or take-down activities.

Work safely and professionally in changing weather conditions, respond to operational call-outs as required, and provide courteous service to residents, contractors, and Town staff.The successful candidate holds: A high school diploma or a recognized equivalent. A valid G license in good standing. DZ license is an asset

Experience with operating heavy equipment, snow plowing on medium to large-sized vehicles and sidewalk machines. These upcoming vacancies are 6-month casual contract positions, scheduled for 40 hours per week and include flexible shifts on days, afternoons, nights and weekends.
