Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medication administration systems, and hospital protocols is necessary. Excellent time management, adaptability, and communication skills are crucial to handle higher patient loads and collaborate with weekend staff. These skills ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care during weekend shifts when resources and support may be more limited.

Weekend Only Registered Nurses often encounter challenges such as higher patient volumes, limited access to certain support staff, and the need for efficient communication with weekday teams.
