Their duties often include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and performing light administrative tasks. This role is vital for businesses that operate or have customer service needs during weekends, ensuring that there is always someone available to assist clients and support staff. Weekend only receptionists may work in various settings such as medical offices, hotels, salons, or corporate environments. The position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work or supplemental income with a fixed weekend schedule.
