The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences for those 62 and older. This state-of-the-art, 12-story senior living community will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. Interior spaces are warm and inviting, featuring high-end amenities and services suitable to an urban setting, including secure underground parking. This brand-new community is nothing like you have ever seen, but it is our commitment to compassionate quality care for more than 27 years that is truly distinctive.
Job Description:
As a licensed nurse, you will work closely with the families, staff, and outside providers at The Springs at The Waterfront. You will use your diverse knowledge and exceptional relational skills to promote positive outcomes for our residents. Additionally, you will use your coaching abilities to teach our staff how to provide exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a warm, caring, and professional individual that cares about doing the right thing each day for the residents and staff. The licensed nurse reports to the Director of Health Services.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitors physician orders/laboratory results and assures correct implementation
  • Along with the director of health services, monitors alert charting, especially to assure appropriate employee response to issues and, to determine need for RN assessment
  • Monitors resident incident reports
  • Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual issues
  • Assists in development of service plans, assuring health service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact upon health, effectively addressed
  • Attends service plan meetings as necessary
  • Assures compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services
  • Performs new resident assessments
  • Occasional assistance with staffing schedule
  • Monthly MOD (Manager on Duty) weekend

Qualifications:
  • Washington RN or LPN License
  • Organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines
  • Good judgement and professional maturity
  • Ability to lead in an industry of constant change
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Successful employee management experience

Job Type: Full-time, Sunday - Thursday
Salary:
The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Licensed Nurse position, with an annual salary range of $79K-$89K depending on experience. This position may be also eligible for a year end discretionary bonus.
