What does weekend off mean in a job listing?

'Weekend Off' in a job listing indicates that employees are not required to work on weekends, typically Saturday and Sunday. This means the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, allowing staff to have weekends free for rest, family time, or personal activities. This is a sought-after benefit in industries where weekend work is common, as it helps promote work-life balance.
