About the Role
As a CBRE Receptionist, you will serve as the primary point of contact and the welcoming face of our office, playing a vital role in creating a professional and seamless environment for clients, visitors, and employees. This position is an integral part of the Workplace Experience function, dedicated to delivering world-class customer service and supporting the administrative needs of a designated building. You will contribute to an elevated guest experience, particularly for our international visitors, and ensure the smooth daily operation of the reception area.
What You'll Do
  • Greet clients, applicants, and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Issue visitor passes, manage parking validations, and meticulously follow security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Receive and efficiently direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel or voicemail, managing a multi-line phone system.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms, including room setup, coordinating catering orders, and securing necessary technological equipment.
  • Request building and housekeeping services as needed to ensure meeting spaces and common areas are well-maintained.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including distributing office faxes and packages, and ordering office supplies to maintain inventory.
  • Arrange hospitality services for guests, such as transportation, event tickets, and reservations, to ensure a comfortable and elevated experience.
  • Utilize existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems, demonstrating good judgment within defined parameters.
  • Cross-train as needed to support various administrative functions and contribute to overall team efficiency.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 1 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
