About the Job:
99 Ranch Market is the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States, with over 64 store locations across 10 states and more to come! Responsibilities:
  • Unload and break down deliveries. Rotate stocks for freshness.
  • Be responsible for cutting, and trimming products into saleable sizes and for better presentation.
  • Handle spoiled products properly. Keep accurate logs in accordance with the policies of the company, state food safety, and health.
  • Follow the company policy to clean the walk-in cooler, clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and counters in a safe manner, and maintain work areas clean.
  • Complete production process, quality control, and other techniques maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Keep aisles and common walking areas clean / cleared of boxes and debris to prevent injury.
  • Perform other duties as for business needs.

Qualifications:
  • No experience is required.
  • Be flexible with assigned working schedules.
  • Have a Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and passionate about food.
  • Having strong time management, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
  • Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and early morning shifts.

Work Environment:
  • Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
  • Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
  • Lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment.
  • Able to work occasionally with an environment temperature ranging from 32ºF to 50°F.
