They are highly intelligent animals, capable of complex social behaviors, communication, and memory. Elephants play a crucial role in their ecosystems by helping to shape their habitats and disperse seeds. They are protected animals, but face threats from habitat loss and poaching.

Elephant Trainers usually work as part of a multidisciplinary team that can include veterinarians, animal behaviorists, zookeepers, and enrichment coordinators. Daily collaboration involves jointly developing training plans, monitoring elephants’ health and well-being, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during interactions. Trainers often communicate closely with veterinary staff to monitor for signs of illness or distress and may participate in team meetings to discuss behavioral progress or changes in routine. Job description

Independent Sales Representative – Windows & DoorsAbout Elephant

Elephant Windows and Doors Inc. provides high-performance, fully customized window and door systems for residential and architectural projects throughout the Bay Area. Our product portfolio includes slim-profile aluminum windows, large sliding doors, folding doors, pivot doors, curtain walls, and other custom opening solutions.

We work closely with homeowners, architects, builders, and designers to develop project-specific solutions, with a strong focus on modern aesthetics, energy performance, technical compliance, and responsive local service.

Position Overview

Elephant is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to develop new business and represent our window and door products in the Bay Area.

This is an independent, results-driven opportunity suitable for a sales professional with established relationships in residential construction, architecture, remodeling, real estate development, or luxury home design. The representative will independently manage business development activities while receiving product, quotation, and technical support from Elephant’s internal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new residential and commercial project opportunities.
  • Build relationships with homeowners, architects, general contractors, builders, designers, and developers.
  • Introduce Elephant’s products and communicate their design, performance, and customization advantages.
  • Collect project plans, window schedules, specifications, dimensions, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Elephant’s internal team on product selection, quotations, technical documentation, and project follow-up.
  • Maintain communication with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and manage an independent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Represent Elephant professionally at meetings, project sites, industry events, and networking activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales, business development, construction materials, windows and doors, architecture, remodeling, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with architects, builders, contractors, designers, developers, or homeowners are highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable discussing customized and technically detailed products.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Able to travel locally within the Bay Area for meetings and project visits.
  • Familiarity with California residential construction or Title 24 requirements is beneficial but not required.
  • Multilingual communication skills are a plus.
Compensation

This is an independent contractor sales position, not a salaried employee role. Compensation is commission-based and tied to successfully completed sales. Commission structure and payment terms will be discussed with qualified candidates.

  • Elephant provides product training, marketing materials, quotation support, technical coordination, and after-sales support.
