Insight Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our high-performing ambulatory surgery team. This role provides safe, patient-centered care before and after surgical procedures in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What You'll Do
  • Complete comprehensive pre-op and post-op assessments (cardiac, respiratory, neuro, pain, hemodynamics).
  • Monitor patients and interpret data from clinical equipment.
  • Provide safe recovery care for general, MAC, regional, and local anesthesia.
  • Use standardized scoring systems (Aldrete, PADSS, etc.) for recovery and discharge.
  • Educate patients and families on post-op expectations, pain management, and home care.
  • Communicate effectively and provide accurate clinical handoffs.
  • Maintain patient safety, prevent infection, and advocate for patient rights.
  • Document care accurately and collaborate with the care team.
  • Participate in quality improvement, training, and daily safety huddles.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • 1 year of Operating Room experience required
  • Current, active state RN licensure in good standing
  • BLS/BCLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • ACLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • PALS certification required if pediatric patients are part of the facility's scope of care (or obtained within 90 days of hire)

USD $45.00/Hr. USD $51.80/Hr.
