Network Engineer (Build)

We are seeking a Network Engineer (Build) to work locally/onsite at our AZ and RI data centers.

Required Skills: Candidate needs to be local or willing to relocate to the RI or AZ data center locations. Nexus, CatOS, Cisco VSS and Cisco ACI SolarWinds, NetBrain, NetScout and StatSeeker DNS, DHCP, LTM, GTM Infoblox Routing and Switching Layer 2/3, Setup Routing Migration and Configuration - Zone Transfers, IP assignments Site Buildouts - ESP Routers CCNA Cert F5 Load Balancing

Job Duties: Hands-on working experience configuring Cisco switches (Nexus 7010, 4507), routers (Cisco 3800 and 3900 series), Cisco VPN, Infoblox DNS infrastructure, and telecom carriers for circuit provisioning and troubleshooting. Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, configures and builds organization's network systems. Designs, develops and tests network infrastructure components such as Switches, routers, Load balancers (F5), etc. F5 Load Balancer experience required Provides network build out features and functionality documentation for operational support readiness. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Develops network documentation for operational readiness. Provides project support to various (client) facilities, performing work such as configuration and installation of network infrastructure. Works with local vendors to coordinate installation of services including circuits for local and other remote sites. This position will have overall responsibilities for network infrastructure deployment and other duties including Visio drawings of network layout.

Job Requirements: Candidate needs to be local or willing to relocate to the RI or AZ data center locations. Individuals must be customer focused and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to drive results and have excellent follow-up skills. Must be organized and a real team player but have the capability to work independently. Should have experience working with Cisco network switches, routers and related components such as load balancer, remote access hw, and DNS/DHCP environment. F5 Proxy configuration, multi-site deployment and migration Microsoft ISA. Should have strong knowledge and experience of integration with phone systems and switches. Must be able to work after business hours and weekends if required. Three or more years of experience with Cisco switches, telephone technology and application, previous training in Cisco network hardware such as 6500, 4500, Nexus switches, load balancer and related software. Knowledge of Microsoft office, Visio products. Work plan and run organization, business partners and vendors for projects and initiatives. This candidate must have a good knowledge of carrier services and interfaces. This candidate must have strong interpersonal skills (oral and written), Technical documentation skills, be able to think outside the box, and be a self-starter.

Desired Skills & Experience: Exposure to Nexus, CatOS, Cisco VSS and Cisco ACI are bonuses and preferred over candidates without. Experience with SolarWinds, NetBrain, NetScout and StatSeeker are beneficial.
