TruStep Podiatry is a fast-growing podiatry practice that offers on-site services dedicated to improving foot and ankle health for residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Our team focuses on preventive care, wound management, and comprehensive podiatric services to enhance resident comfort, mobility, and quality of life.

As a member of our team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to deliver high-impact clinical care in a mobile practice model with a focus on autonomy, work life balance, and meaningful patient outcomes.

Position Summary

As a TruStep podiatrist, you will travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities (SNF), long-term care (LTC) centers within the Phoenix market to provide podiatric evaluations, treatments, and procedures. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff to manage diabetic foot care, ulcers, infections, biomechanical assessments, toenail disorders, and other podiatric conditions commonly seen in elderly and medically complex populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams for residents in SNF/LTC settings.

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of podiatric conditions (diabetic foot care, skin issues, infections, nail disorders, etc.).

  • Perform minor in-clinic procedures (debridement, nail avulsions, wound care, etc.).

  • Develop individualized treatment plans with facility healthcare teams.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per regulatory standards.

  • Provide preventive care education to residents, families, and staff.

  • Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active Arizona Podiatric License (required).

  • Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

  • Experience in geriatric podiatry, wound care, or LTC/SNF settings preferred.

  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel between assigned facilities.

Salary & Compensation

We offer a competitive, fee-for-service compensation package. Earnings are uncapped - most of our full-time providers earn $225K-$300K.

Benefits

Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time). No evenings. No weekends. No call.

  • Mileage or travel reimbursement.

  • Malpractice insurance coverage.

  • Continuing education / professional development support.

  • Health, dental, vision insurance available (full-time).

  • Bonus opportunities based on clinical performance.

  • 401K with company match (full-time).
